Is Adele Designing For Burberry?

BURBERRY has declined to
comment on rumours that
Adele could be collaborating
with Christopher Bailey on a
plus-size clothing collection.
According to reports this
morning, the Vogue cover girl
was personally approached by
creative director Bailey to
become an ambassador for the
British fashion house, and
asked to work with him on a
"bespoke" range for voluptous
customers.
The rumours have also yet to
be confirmed or denied by
Adele's camp.
The brand has dressed the
singer for various red carpet
appearances in the past, most
notably at the 2011 Brit
Awards and last year's MTV
Video Music Awards. The star -
who is currently expecting her
first child - has also made it
clear that she is a fan of the
brand.
"I've met Christopher Bailey a
few times," she has said
previously. "I've always loved
Burberry. I remember saving
for three years to get my first
bag before I got signed."
But, if true, it's not the only
new job Adele's got lined up
at the moment - she's also
been confirmed to sing the
theme tune for new James
Bond movie, Skyfall.
"I'm going back into the
studio," she hinted recently.
"It's actually a theme, that
I've got to do. Wow, that's
really giving something away."
The 24-year-old was spotted
at the Abbey Road studios in
London last month, where it's
believed she was recording the
finishing touches to the music
- also entitled Skyfall. The
track marks Adele's first
material since her last album,
21.
